Shares of Sprylogics International (CVE:SPY) picked up Wednesday after signing a deal that will integrate its Poynt app with Groupon's (NASDAQ:GRPN) marketplace of daily discounts.
Through the agreement, Poynt users will be able to search, find and purchase thousands of local deals, all without leaving the app, directly from their smartphones. Features include daily deals, food and drink, travel, things to do and more. Groupon currently serves 500 markets and more than 45 countries.
Sprylogics' Poynt app is a mobile, local search app that has garnered over 20 million downloads. The company also enables mobile app providers to introduce new revenue streams into their apps with Poynt-Enabled SDK, which brings monetization related to the user's search intent, while increasing loyalty, engagement and user activity levels.

Sprylogics' products work by aggregating content that ranges across the most commonly searched subjects, allowing users to discover and share things from movies and restaurants, to the cheapest gas prices and local offers, and add them to their calendars without leaving the app.
Shares were last up 13.2 percent at 30 Canadian cents on Wednesday afternoon, peaking at its session high of 32 cents earlier today.
